I was looking around for inspiration and stumbled upon this indoor picnic cafe in London. It seems their website isn't working so for more pics I went to this awesome ladie's blog! We totally need a place like this for the summers!

I put your hand up on my hip, when I dip, you dip, we dip...
Since the August 2010 issue of Martha Stewart Living I have been noticing this dip everything in something trend emerge. I feel like I am watching the scene in Forrest Gump when Bubba was naming all the different kinds of shrimp recipes. This is what runs through my head; dipped tables, dipped carving forks, dipped cupcakes, dipped spoons, dipped baskets, dipped chairs, etc. (you name it!)

Bentwood
I just picked up a handful of these old bentwood cafe chairs. I still swoon over these old images of Victoria's dining room. See the rest of her house and new blog layout here at SF Girl By Bay.

Artist Relish: Lisa Congdon and Mati Rose McDonough
This summer Lisa Congdon and Mati Rose McDonough offered a 5-week online painting course called Get Your Paint On! I love the bright colors and whimsical details put into each piece. The first image is a collaborative painting between Lisa and Mati while the next two are by Mati and the last four are by Lisa. I love how they are such close friends and created the online painting class! I missed out on this one but hope they do it again!
